"Life is hard when you don’t know who you are. It’s harder when you don’t know *what* you are. ... I was lost for years. Searching while hiding. ... I won’t hide anymore. I will live the life I choose." -- Bo Dennis, "Lost Girl"

I'm often puzzled by the apparent unawareness of the (to me, very obvious) influences of the Mersey Beat, and particularly, The Beatles, on Paisley Underground (aka "Jangle Pop"), in particular, The Bangles. If you can't hear it in this, well, then, just look at the song title; it's a clear homage to the Mersey Beat and The Beatles.
ReplyDeleteThis is a fun video. Our beloved Spock plays a lead role.
